I wish I would've taken summer courses before last year and I would've been done by now! Oh well...I am stoked at how close I am to finishing!! I gradute on 08-08-08. How funny is that date? : ) (I know...I'm a poet too)<br /><br />Anyway, I am thankful for my husband who stuck with me throughout my entire school career and six years later....it will pay off for him. We are getting a boat, and I know that he is thrilled about that! <br /><br />I have met so many awesome friends through school and I pray that we stay friends. I am very excited about the new relationships. Over the years, I have lost friends for whatever reason and I cherish the new ones that come along. I know that my old friends just find it hard to stay when they are single, or have no kids of their own. <br /><br />The moral of the story...as much as I hated wasting six years of my life stuck in a classroom...it has definitely paid off! I am so excited about the things that have happened to me in the process, and I am definitely looking forward to what God has in store for me in the future. I am turning a new chapter in my life, and this will be the highlight of it. We are getting more involved in church, which singing is a passion of mine, and I am ready to see what God brings for us. I love the Lord with all my heart, and through the rough times, he has continued to stand by my side. Even though, I am extremely stubborn. Our boys deserve to have the relationship with Jesus Christ that I had while I was growing up. <br /><br />On another note, I know my life will be grand because my favorite person in the world is moving several hundred miles CLOSER to me than before!!! I am pumped!! Even though (my aunt) is not going to live near the ocean anymore, she will live fairly close to a lake and with our new boat we can all go chill on the water together! Anyway, the point is, I cannot wait to spend more time with her, my uncle, my cousins, and my six second-cousins!!! In fact, we are going to see them next weekend! Whoohoo!<br /><br />Sorry...it's just been a really long time. In fact, it has been almost FOUR years since I have seen one of my cousins. I have actually hung out with two of her sons since I have last seen her. Okay, so I have had this blog for like a million years and I have yet to post something on it! So, here it is! The wonderful, exciting FIRST POST! : ) My Aunt Twila will be proud of me! hehe <look><p><look>Anyway, so life is so hectic right now that I don't even know when to do what anymore!?!?! AHHH! It is crazy-wazy...I am in my senior year at WT, training to become the best elementary teacher ever! I am soooo excited about this, and it feels so right. I know that there are a certain few on the face of this earth that are selected to become teachers, and I am one of them. WHAT WAS I THINKING??? hehehe NO, really, I love it!<br /><br />I am so blessed! I don't think I have ever told anyone this before, but I have the BEST husband in the world! Things are so hectic, we have little money, our house is a wreck and I am at my wits end...and he continues to stand by my side and still treat me like the queen he married 7 years ago! I LOVE THAT! He supports me in my decision to be a teacher, even though I did take a slight pay-cut from becoming a doctor! hehehe, j/k. We couldn't be happier! And what is so weird is our life is completely upside-down from where we started. God's grace is amazing! He continues to grant us the courage we need to overcome life's challenges. I could definitely be in a hospital room begging for something to knock me out right now, but no...I am sitting here typing a blog saying that I am so happy I cannot stand it! I am pumped about this semester being over...I just got a new job that will go hand and hand with my schooling...and I have friends and family around me everywhere that I am extremely thankful for! Life couldn't be better...oh, wait...I got a little carried away there. Yes it can! : )<br /><br />So, the reason I come here today is the fact that my myspace has gone kurplunk!! hehe I have nooooo idea what happened but all but one of my friends have been deleted, my background is non-existant, and all of my comments are gone. But hey, life is still great!
